Marshall County, Iowa

Marshall County is located in Central Iowa, about 30 miles northeast of Des Moines.

The seat and largest city is Marshalltown. It is named for John Marshall, the fourth justice of the supreme court.

It borders Hardin, Grundy, Tama, Jasper and Story Counties.

Main Highways include US-30, IA-14, IA-146, IA-330 and IA-96.
